On September 16, 2008, the Optical Media Board formally launched its INFOTEXT System through a press conference held at the Rembrandt Hotel, Tomas Morato, Quezon City. Attending the occasion were some eighty media reporters from various print/broadcast networks as well as representatives of anti-child abuse and pornography advocacies. Speaking in behalf of the OMB were Chairman Eduardo Manzano, Executive Director Atty. Rosendo Meneses, and Legal Division Chief Atty. Cyrus Valenzuela.
