In an inspection operation conducted by OMB yesterday, February 8, 2021, two establishments were verified to be compliant by agents of the Optical Media Board.
PESCHER PC COMPUTER TRADING in Camarin, Caloocan City and ALIEN GROUNDS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS in Quezon City were inspected by OMB and were found compliant to the provisions of Republic Act No. 9239 otherwise known as the Optical Media Act of 2003. Both establishments were able to present VALID OMB licenses.
The Optical Media Board highly appreciates establishments that continue to be cooperative despite the challenges of the pandemic, like PESCHER PC COMPUTER TRADING and ALIEN GROUNDS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS.
OMB Chair and CEO Atty. Christian D. Natividad reminds businesses engaged in activities involving optical and magnetic media, and other storage devices to secure the necessary OMB license and permits, “Iwasan na po natin ang sasakit ang ulo. Kapag kayo po ay na-inspect namin at wala po kayong maipakitang valid OMB license at permit, isasara po namin ang tindahan o bodega ninyo at ilalagay po namin under preventive custody and inyong mga paninda. Sumunod lang po tayo sa batas para po wala po tayong maging problema.” #
